About Emily

With over 15 years experience in senior leadership roles across the NHS, I understand what the complexity of healthcare systems, the challenge of leading through uncertainty, and the emotional load that often sits behind leadership roles. I have worked across a range of healthcare settings, from acute hospitals to general practice.

Throughout my experience, again and again, I noticed the same thing: When people felt more like themselves at work — more confident, more grounded, and clearer about how they wanted to lead — everything else started to shift. Conversations became easier. Decisions felt clearer. Leadership felt less effortful. That is what drew me into coaching - the power of conversation in unlocking potential and achieving alignment.

My Approach

I work with leaders who want space to think. People who are capable, committed, and carrying a lot — but who know something isn't sitting quite right.

• Sometimes that looks like confidence feeling wobbly.

• Sometimes it's difficult relationships, blurred boundaries, or the pressure of leading through constant change.

• Sometimes it's simply the feeling of being stuck.

My coaching creates space to step back from the day-to-day, reflect more deeply, and work out how you want to move forward. My style is reflective, grounded, and person-centred. I'm less interested in quick fixes, and more interested in helping people understand the patterns underneath — because that's where sustainable change begins. I work with strengths, values, emotions, and beliefs to help people lead in ways that feel more aligned, more effective, and more like themselves.

What I Bring

Alongside formal coach training, I bring extensive real-world leadership experience.

My own strengths have always been in connecting people — bringing teams together, creating shared purpose, and building environments where people feel supported to grow. That combination of leadership experience and reflective coaching practice means I work in a way that is both practical and deeply relational.

Beyond Work

Outside of work, I'm a mum to two young children and a Trustee for a local youth support charity. Both continue to shape my belief in people-centred leadership, growth, and creating environments where people can thrive. I believe leadership works best when it is not performative or perfect — but human.

The best coaching conversations are often the ones that create just enough pause for something important to become clear.

That is the space I aim to create.
